Rancé is without doubt the best soap in the world. It gives an excellent soft and creamy lather, the scent is consistent throughout use with no 'soapy' or chemical-type of scent that lesser soaps can give off---Rancé soaps are beautifully perfumed, and the bar is long-lasting. This is my first experience of Le Vainqueur, and my initial impression was one of subtle citrus scent---if you like Rancé Laetitia, this has a quiet similarity, though Laetitia is more dramatic. It is more spicy than floral, probably a more masculine soap but definitely suitable for women. I will definitely buy this scent again!
